Openings
California Creative Benefits seeks to hire ambitious, outgoing sales representatives who want a rewarding career in the employee benefits industry. We’ll want you to bring in new clients each month and design, implement, communicate and service employee benefits programs for our clients. Our sales representatives are also responsible for calling on, selling and servicing employee benefit programs (i.e. medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, COBRA programs, etc.) to companies in our local area. Insurance companies that might be used include; Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente, Delta Dental, Met Life, Vision Service Plan (VSP), The Hartford, etc.
These positions include interaction with our clients, insurance carriers, advisors and office personnel to Tasks include case preparation and summary of all employee benefit programs (including medical, life, short and long-term disability, voluntary plans, etc), compiling client data (census, plan design, etc), drafting and soliciting RFPs for clients to be sent to vendors, updating policy information, in-force policy service, including claims, billing and administrative issues, communications and troubleshooting client policy difficulties.

- Successful, proven experience managing or designing with benefits programs, and/or experience as an individual life or disability agent for Mass Mutual, New York Life, Northwestern Mutual or a similar, highly respected individual benefits company.
- Proficient and comprehensive knowledge of group benefit programs, including medical, life, short and long-term disability, voluntary plans, etc.
- Strong ability to establish rapport and collaborate with our clients – senior executives, owners, finance, benefits managers and HR managers.
- An exceptional attitude towards customer service.
- Professional attitude, conscientious time management skills and respect for the importance of others people’s time.
- Honesty, patience, strong people skills and a strong commitment to always doing what is right for our customers.
Our sales representative fringe benefits include medical, dental, life, disability, long term care and 401k plan. Compensation: Base salary based on experience, plus objectives-based bonuses/commissions.
